The areas affected include... Coastal waters from Tarpon Springs to Suwannee River FL out 20 NM... Waters from Tarpon Springs to Suwannee River FL out 20 to 60 NM... At 610 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Yankeetown to 11 nm southwest of Cedar Key to 6 nm west of Suwannee River, moving southwest at 15 knots.

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until these storms pass. These strong thunderstorms will likely produce winds to around 30 knots, and could pose a serious hazard for boaters.
