Now in USA

Methodology

Now in USA imports data directly from official government APIs and files into our own database, then serves pages from that database — never by calling a government API live while you're viewing a page. If a source is temporarily unavailable, the site keeps showing the last successfully collected data rather than going down.

Update frequency varies by source: weather alerts and earthquakes refresh every few minutes, air quality every 30 minutes, gasoline prices and economic indicators daily (matching how often those sources actually publish), and demographic/housing data annually.

Rankings and comparisons (e.g. "highest gas prices") are computed with plain SQL ordering over the imported data — no AI or editorial judgment is involved in the core numbers.
