At 749 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7 miles southeast of Las Animas, or 19 miles east of North La Junta, moving northeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... John Martin Reservoir and Fort Lyon.
