* WHAT...Southwest winds 15 to 25 kt with gusts up to 30 kt and seas 5 to 8 feet expected. * WHERE...Pohnpei Coastal Waters. * WHEN...Until 3 AM ChST Friday. * IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A monsoon surge will continue to bring sustained winds up to 25 knots with gusts to around 30 knots through at least Thursday morning. Winds are expected to begin to subside Thursday as the surge moves farther north.

Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller vessels, should avoid boating in hazardous conditions.
