  • Park ClosureUpcoming Site Closure – Adams Farm at Penn’s Hill

    Starting August 24, the Adams Farm at Penn’s Hill (John Adams and John Quincy Adams Birthplaces) will close for construction on a major cultural landscape project. The entire site will be inaccessible from August 24 through the remainder of the tour season. The Visitor Center and Peace field remain open and accessible.

    Groups of 11 or more people should contact the Visitor Center at [email protected] or 617-770-1175 at least two weeks in advance to arrange their visit.

  • Park ClosureBag Policy

    Bags larger than 9"x11"x5" are not permitted in the historic homes. The park does not have storage lockers for these items. Bags may not be left unattended and cannot be left with park staff. Anyone carrying a bag larger than 9"x11"x5" will not be admitted into the historic homes.

  • Information2026 Tour Season

    Visit https://www.nps.gov/adam/planyourvisit/2026-tour-season.htm for details on the 2026 tour season, including operating hours and tour offerings. The Visitor Center is open 9am-5pm Wednesdays-Sundays. The historic homes are open Wednesdays-Sundays. Entrance fees required for entry into historic homes. Guided tour reservations are available first-come, first-served on the day of the tour at the Visitor Center. Reservations not required for self-guided tours.
