The areas affected include... Coastal waters from Fernandina Beach to St. Augustine FL out 20 NM... At 1057 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located over Amelia City, or 37 nm south of St. Simons Island. The thunderstorm was nearly stationary.
