* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Arecibo County in Puerto Rico... Barceloneta County in Puerto Rico... Florida County in Puerto Rico... Manati County in Puerto Rico... Vega Baja County in Puerto Rico... * WHEN...Until 215 PM AST. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1218 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

What To Do

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads. In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded roads. Find an alternate route.
