The areas affected include... Coastal waters from Tarpon Springs to Suwannee River FL out 20 NM... At 307 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 15 nm northeast of Yankeetown to 12 nm east of Crystal River to 18 nm east of Bayport, moving west at 20 knots.

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until these storms pass. These strong thunderstorms will likely produce winds to around 30 knots, and could pose a serious hazard for boaters.
