Coastal Waters of Southwestern Puerto Rico out 10 NM... * At 153 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots, and waterspouts. This strong thunderstorm was located over the western coastal waters of Puerto Rico, just west of Mayaguez, moving west at 5 knots. Locations impacted include... Mainly open waters of Mona Passage Southward to 17N, Coastal Waters of Northwestern Puerto Rico out 10 NM and Coastal Waters of Southwestern Puerto Rico out 10 NM.
